Radioss plane strain thickness force definition

Dear community,

1. When using the plane strain thickness option in the /ANALY card, what is the thickness that Radioss gives to the components? Can that thickness be changed?

2. How should an applied load be defined when using plane strain? Is it in Force/unit thickness?

The thickness (depth) of the model is essentially infinite and cannot be changed, so far as I know, loads are per distance unit (e.g. if model is in mm units, the load is per mm of depth)
