I am facing a license error after installation of hyperworks software
I have faced a license error code:9 after installation of hyperworks student edition 2021.I have checked my ethernet address and done everything as required in the instructions.I have set up the environmental variables and placed the license file to C-drive in the altair-security folder and checked the extension of file .But I am still getting the error.I am attaching the screenshorts below.

Please use the address under Wireless Adapter LAN Wifi in your ipconfig/all output and request for a new license file.

I tried using the wirelss adapter lan wifi and got a new license file.But still it is showing the same license error

Do you see the same error with all Altair tools or just HyperWorks (and again here is it from the HyperWorks unity interface or the classic interface i.e. when you start HyperWorks Desktop 2021) ?
do you see the same wifi address as you see with getmac when you check in the physical address section of wifi lan adapter wifi in the ipconfig/all output as well?
is your wifi on or off when you run the software?

I have only downloaded hyperworks.So I see this error with only hyperworks bundle.
When I open hyperworks unity interface,i get this type of license error.
Yes it is the same address as on the physical address of lan adapter wifi.
My wifi is on when I run the software.

Do you see the error with HyperMesh Classic too?
if everything else is done correctly, then it is likely that the wifi address needs to be rechecked, can you send us the entire output of ipconfig/all ? it looks like you are taking the wifi address from getmac which is not accurate always.

NO , I see this error with hyperworks 2021 and hyperworks cfd 2021.

If HyperMesh classic is working then you just have to activate the license within the unity interface license window, close and restart the application.

I am facing the same issue, Hyperwork Desktop works fine but Hyperwork 2021 is not accepting the license file

HI Nishar,
In most cases , closing and starting the HyperWorks 2021 will make the license error disappear, if HyperWorks desktop and other tools work, HyperWorks 2021 will work fine as well.

You just open the hyperworks app and run it as administrator.It will work0
