In SimLab you can use the 'Join' command (use Ctrl+F). for a given tolerance, it will find mathcing faces, and merge them using the same mesh pattern.
Then, if you want them to be separated later, use the 'Separate' toolbar. It will create a coincident mesh, but with separate nodes.

For more complex cases, when "join" does not work, please use the REPLACE FACE command to copy the face(s) of one body into the other.
Advantage: robust, works for any kind of face shape
Disadvantage: you have to select manually the face to imprint, and the face to imprint must be "smaller" than the destination body1
