Node equivalencing Simlab/HM component

As shown in attached picture I have meshed a complex surface in Simlab (red ) and a regular cylindrical surface (green) in HM 2020.

The intention is to merge the nodes at the interface by importing the SL component into HM. I had specifically enforced a mesh control on the edge in SL in an attempt to match the green nodes.

However the some of the nodes are far off for equivalencing. How shall I resolve this in HM? Please see the attached 2 pics.

Thanks alot

    Hello,

Did you try the join function in SimLab ? This function is available in the Assembly ribbon.

Another question, why did you create the green meshing in HM and not directly in SimLab ?

Thanks in advance for your feedback,

    Richard

Thanks for the tip. I also looked at the project to surface nodes option in the grid mesh function. This meshed the fillet reasonably well so that I dont need HM.
