TSTEP is automatiocally adding in nonlinear quastatic analysis
Hi
I am rinning a nonlinear quastatic analysis . I am putting it for solve its giving an error
*** ERROR # 1461 *** in the input data:
Card 'TSTEP(TIME)' is not allowed for this subcase type.
the input data TSTEP is adding on its own .how to deactivate this .?

Check this video also. See the load step creation after 8:00 min

The NLPARM and TSTEP load collectors share the same ID (3). Each LC needs a unique ID, which might be causing the error.

Hi !
TSTEP is for transient analysis.
If you want to run Non Linear Quasi Static Analysis, NLPARM is sufficient /emoticons/default_smile.png' srcset='/emoticons/smile@2x.png 2x' title=':)' width='20' />

Hi All
I did not create any TSTEP .I created a Non linear Quasistatic solution ,and exported(solver deck file).
In the FEM file i observed a TSTEP card is added. For all the solution (Liner or Nonlinear )TSTEP is automatically added in the deck file.
After i delete the .tcl and .settings file from the documents , The problem got resolved.
Pleace help me to solve this problem

tried this step also it doesn't work kindly help me

Please make sure to set the analysis type as nonlinear static instead of generic in loadstep.
Hi,
there is no TSTEP entry for nonlinear quasistatic analysis. Make sure you are choosing the correct analysis type- it should be non-linear quasi-static not generic.
