Contact status is different on 2 components

I have created a non-linear contact surface between 2 components ,after solving when I check contact status on both components it is different ,how is it possible?.

For example consider 2 components component A and component B , when we create a contact choosing surface A from component A and surface B from component B , the contact status should be same on surface A and surface B, but it is showing different .

So I want to understand whether this is happening for my load case or it will happen generally .If you have documentation for reading contact status please attach that as well.

Hi Shiva,

What you are observing is expected. The calculation of contact result on both side of contact interface involves projections and mappings. Hence a perfect match of results between two sides cannot be expected.
