I want to apply pretension load on a model and then apply a temperature load and see the resulting expansion due to temperature load.

I have a model on which I want to first apply the pretension load and then on that I want to give the temperature load . I want to know how to setup this in hypermesh . I don't want to solve for conductivity just want to see the expansion due to thermal load.

Then you just need to add an additional subcase, making sure you set up "cntnlsub" to make a continuation subcase, with your thermal load.
