Hi.
I heard that with PSIM updated to 2022.3, SPICE simulation with HyperSpice became possible.

In PSIM, SPICE simulation using LTSpice was also possible.
So I want to know the difference between HyperSpice and LTSpice.
When I looked it up, I know HyperSpice is a Spice model provided by Activate, but there seems to be no detailed explanation.

    Hi, Yong Jun,

     - HyperSpice engine is included in PSIM2022.3.

On the other hand, to use LTspice, you must download and install LTspice.

     - PSIM calls the HyperSpice DLL at each time step and receives simulation results from HyperSpice. You may utilize PSIM functions such as runtime variable and runtime waveform display function to observe during the simulation running.

With LTspice, there is not interaction between PSIM and LTspice until the LTspice simulation is complete.

     - If there is any issue with HyperSpice simulation, our developers are ready to help.

LTspice technical support is not provided by Altair.

HyperSpice accommodates most of LTspice's functionality. The Altair's HyperSpice development team is working to improve its performance constantly.
