Hi everyone
I want to calculate the drag coefficient and lift coefficient of my car simulation, but i cannot extract the frontal area to calculate them. Can anyone help me?
Thanks!!!

I will attach a screen recording showing the process in HyperMesh CFD 2023.1.  (I'm not positive it's there in HyperWorks CFD 2022.3, but you can try it.)  It seems like right now, we need to create a surface from those projected elements using the Create Topology tool, but hopefully in the future it will work just by selecting the Part in the Query tool.

This does depend on the mesh density, so the finer mesh will give you a closer approximation to the true projected area.  This does not function directly on the CAD.

Thanks you very much. Tomorrow I will try it (I'm downloading HyperMesh CFD 2023.1) and i will tell you if there is any problem.
    Thanks again for all!!!
