how do i run the simulation using /FAIL/XFEM/JOHNS card , when i already have property card of P1/SHELL , as i am getting error 510 .

 

I need to simulate failure after necking during tensile test of specimen.

    Hi yogeshchandra

     

    As per the file you send, I can see that the material was not specified. Please update the material in the /FAIL/XFEM/JOHNS property card and try running the analysis.

     

    It is working fine from my end
