Hello everybody,

is there a oppertunity to define the nodes on which i apply forces or bearings to become nondesign spaces, so every node i gave that on is still there after optimization?
I know that from other topology optimization software or generative design software that this is possible quiete easy.

Best regards,

Manuel

usually in Inspire/OptiStruct we create a partition in these regions, separating them from the design space area.

In Inspire, you would need to break your solid into different parts.

In OptiStruct/HM, you would need to create a separate solid/property for segregating the design/non-design spaces.

Assuming that you have your loads selected, you could change selection to elements, the HM will select all the surrounding elements, then, you could organize these into a different component, with a different property, non-designable.
