Visualizing only particles within a geometry selection
Dear EDEM users,
I have a simulation with many particles, but I am just exporting a part of the system for data analysis.
For my visualization I would like to show only the particles within the geometry selection I am using (see image).
Does anybody know of a way to remove all particles from the visualization, except the ones I am interested in (orange colored)?
Any advice is much appreciated.
Cheers,
Raisa

Hi, Raisa
Please go to Selectiions → Particle Selections → Click the bin group → check the 'Properties by selection group' → Go to Particles → uncheck the particle display.
The particles will only be visible in the empty areas you set.
Thank you

Hi Raisa,
You can display the required particles alone using the below steps.
1) Choose bins/manual selection and select necessary particles
2) Hide all particles from the display window by un-checking the radio button of particles
3) go to Selections-->Particle Selections--> choose the selected bin/manual selection, to display only selected particles.
Thanks,
