Dear Ladies an Gentleman,

Hallo Community,

I have a question to Altair INSPIRE Form.

I have a Depp Drawing Simulaltion with two Blanks. The Simulation runs with Shells. Within the Postprocessing I can see the Stresses, Deformation etc. for two Blanks as Shells.

My Question: Is ist possible to see the Elements in 3D when looking to the results. The target is to visualize the thickness of the elements.

The target is to prepare a Joining Simulation "Clinch - Clinching". When the two sheets are pressed into the Die, I want to see the undercut. To see the undercut of the two blanks (sheet metall) need to visulalize the elements in 3D.

Please let me know if you have a solution to my question.

Thank you very much & Kind Regards, Ziad

I don't think this is actually possible in the current release. I don't remember Inspire having the 3D visualization capability, yet.

Maybe a suggestion, if you have HyperWorks in your machine, would be to import the .sta files outputted from your analysis into HW, and there I believe you would be able to visualize it in 3D. Have to test this approach.

    Hi,

Do you want to show the thickness of the mesh like this?

    I'm using version 2022.2
