Well, I want to register for testing FEKO. I already fail at the request form, which the support employee sent me via link on my initial request (https://studentedition.altair.com).
The tool lists my Ethernet MAC, but I also tried the WLAN Mac of my wireless adapter (corresponding to ipconfig).

Always comes the red comment that the input is already formally incorrect. Tried it with Opera and Chrome.

    HI,

The Ethernet ID is the ID of your machine which is exactly 12 hexadecimal numbers. For example D4WRF478F398

Run ipconfig/all in command window and check for physical address under Ethernet adapter local area connection , The listed physical address under Ethernet adapter local area connection should be used to generate the license file, if there is no listing of Ethernet adapter local area connection, the address under Wireless Adapter LAN Wifi must be used.

A common mistake is to enter the address with the hyphens

remove the hyphens for the form to accept your registration,

Thank you. I chose "other" in the form above and entered the MAC in the form below the Hyperlinks. That was the problem.

No I am waiting desperately for any reaction on my request to finnaly start working.
