Hello,

I installed the FEKO software on my laptop thinking we would need it in class, but we do not. I would like to install the software on my home PC which has significantly more compute, but can't use the same license since I already activated it on my laptop. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

    Hi Gabriel,

    To activate the license on another computer, you must first deactivate it from the computer where it was previously activated.

    To deactivate your license from Mac OS, please follow these steps:

    1. Go to the Altair license utility.
    2. In the Altair License Utility, go to Tools > Deactivate License.
    3. Enter the activation key in the provided box and click on 'Deactivate.' (Refer to the image below)
    4. Once you have successfully deactivated the license on your Mac OS, you can then activate the license on your other computer using the same activation key.

    NOTE: There are only a limited number of chances to deactivate and reactivate a license. Therefore, it's advisable to avoid deactivating it several times.
