How to get the corner results for TRIA3 elements
Hello Everybody,
I'm running multiple linear static analysis and are requesting the PCH files for stress results.
In the PCH file I get the stresses for each TRIA and QUAD element. For QUAD I also get the stresses for each node making up the QUAD. For TRIAS this is unfortunately not the case.
How can I also get the stress results for each node of the TRIA?
Thanks in advance!
Best wishes!
Here an example of the QUAD elements (the element number is 101 and the element has the nodes 100,101,102,103).
And the corresponding results for TRIA elements (the element number is 111 but no information about the nodes)

Hi,
Strains/Stresses, in the 1st order tria, are constant, that's why you don't have them available at the nodes.

Hey Adriano,
thanks a lot.
But is there still the possibility to get the information about what nodes make up each TRIA element in a PCH file?
For post-processing I need to have the stresses at the nodes. And with that I could just assign the constant stress to each of the nodes.
