There is a new version 2023 available now.

I found just some new rendering modes available and some changes in UI in rendering and materials.

Is there more to be expected in the near future?

Seems so. The Mac version as already gone and the distribution in Europe is discontinued. It's a shame how Altair ruined the product.

Would be appreciated if we could get some feedback from the Inspire Studio team.

Frankly I don't think this will happen. As the Mac version went bad and more bad from version to version  I asked them if they will discontinue the product. The answer was: „No, never because our CEO is a big Mac fan”. And now you see what happened. Maybe Altair has some good ideas about their software, but it's more than obvious that they have no programmers for modern platforms. They stick on their old Nvidia/Windows model, which also on the PC side will be outdated soon. ARM's are more faster and the M3 Mac are the most powerful machines out there. May be it's effort to switch to a new platform. But that's what we paid you for since years. Since the times of forma to be exact. Not to give up if the slightest trace of complication comes up. They are waisting time and resources for features nobody asks for. Prove me bad, but is anybody using the Thea render? Thera are so many real time renders in the market: Red Shift and Octane (native iOS and Apple Silicon, by the way) that outperforms Thea in every way.
If that company wouldn't be so stubborn and resistant to advice the best they could do is selling Inspire to a company who has programming skills.

As a Mac user and, like Frank, a user fo the software since it was called Forma (then SolidThinking Evolve), I have just hit a brick wall with a product I love and am reliant on as a professional designer. I use it almost every day and it is excellent. However, I recently upgraded my system software and now the software has stopped working when I came to update my annual agreement. I have learned that they are no longer going to support it on Mac (I suspected this when I saw there was an update last December for Windows but not for Mac). I am now left with little choice but to go and buy a cheap PC to continue working the way I do and on live jobs I have on with my clients! I am very frustrated!
