i have two load steps in my model. first one is for the force which use analysis type linear static and the second one is thermal which use heat transfer transient. my model is to find the thermal distribution of resistance spot welding. so my problem is, when i want to see the result, there is no result type for heat analysis. i have only displacement and element stress. can anyone help me solve this problem.

if you have 2 loadsteps, then you need to change the 'loadcase' select in the left browser are. Make sure you go to View>>Browsers>> and enable the Results browser.

then you will change to the 2nd loadstep.

Also make sure you request the 'THERMAL' output for he 2nd loadstep, to ouput temperatures and fluxes.

If you're not familiar to HyperView for post-processing, go though some basic materials in Altair University or even

    YouTube.

hi Mr Adriano. thank you for your answer. but i want to confirm, where do i need to request the thermal and flux output, is it in the thermal loadstep or force loadstep? or both?

thermal loadstep or in the GLOBAL_OUTPUT_REQUEST card. (Ctrl+F >> global...)
