MODSE - Modal Strain Energy output request does not printed in h3d output file

Dear All,

I'm doing a modal frequency analysis of a simple 1D model. I want to print MODSE , modal strain energy output as a result of the analysis. I'm trying to print MODSE output by using 'Normal Modes' and 'Freq.  resp (modal)' analysis types, but when I open the h3d file in the interface, I can't see any output.

Can you help with the subject?

    I have found the answer,

     

    There is no result of MODSE and MODKE for Normal Modes analysis type. You should print EKE and ESE instead of MODKE and MODSE if you use Normal Modes.

     

    In Frequency Response (Modal) analysis, you need to request MODALSE and MODALKE cards in addition to EKE and ESE cards.

    Hi Berk,

    Yes, you caught the right point. I am about to suggest the same for Normal Modal Analysis to use Element Strain Energy (ESE) to find out the weaker stiff areas.
