It is not possible to reactivate the student edition after restoring the computer

At the university we use the Hyperwork programme. I also had this installed until recently. But I recently had to restore my computer. After I did this, I wanted to reinstall and reactivate Hyperworks. Unfortunately this was not possible as it was already activated on the old system. Is there a way to deactivate the licence on the old system without having access to the old system?
