I want to run a heat transfer analysis in HPC with Optistruct solver by giving multiple cores to reduce the computation time. But i am getting an error saying heat transfer analysis can only be run on one core. Attaching the .out file for reference

the solution for your problem is already given in the error message

 *** ERROR # 3413 ***
 DDM is not supported for heat transfer analysis with more than
 one processors. Please resubmit job as smp or ddm with one core.

 

So I would recommend to use -nt 4 only in this case. = SMP run

In case you have enough license units available, you may want to increase the number.
