Hi everyone,

As i am new user to radioos solver , practicing  my model in radioos  ( roof crash analysis ) below  are some error i noticed

1- don't  no why. to run the simulations file  took 1 hr 45 min ...

2- As run completed  and i opened the out file to review  ( 0 error and 3 warring   shown which i  ignored)

3-  various changes   in ENERGY ERROR   why....??    even tho  i checked all penetrations , intersections also  model checker .

* note -i used type 7 interface with proper parameter

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>image.thumb.png.c8732e98ad52a3e0bca0024e5830f268.png

4- node generated automatic i.e  why  cant open  file in hyper view it showing errors

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>image.thumb.png.cc1b7c34caaa05f1330fb53f92c37856.png

5-To control the  energy error and mass error ( apart from interface  type 7)  what measurement should be taken ...???

6 - need some more explanations on time step

image.png.0a92b249d545de0410d50951fde38260.pngI know the concept but if  i increase the value of  DT/NODA    will it affect my simulation

6- is there any relation between run time and time step ....????

 please correct me

 and thank you for taking time on this .

    Hi,

    Yes There is Relation between Run time and Time step.

    time step is the smallest amount of time which we used to for shock wave propagate across the smallest element.
    run time means total time.
