Modelling of a rotational Viscosimeter
My part is a simple disc with a no-slip BC on the bottom, a slip BC on the sides, and a moving surface on the top. It should depict the fluid phase in a rotational viscosimeter.
When using the Moving wall BC there is only an option to set a tangential velocity. Using this, the amount of the velocity is the same on the whole surface, only the direction changes. Since the surface is rotating the velocity should fall linearly to zero towards the center though.
Any suggestions on how to solve this? Do I have to use a moving mesh approach or is there any possibility to adjust the tangential velocity linearly dependent on the radius?

In a case like this, I would suggest applying a reference frame to the rotating surface. The reference frame can be applied to a volume/solid and/or a surface. Here you wouldn't apply it to the volume/solid, only to the surface. You define the center, axis direction, angular velocity, etc.
