On the EDEM help they said that "The Field tab is only available when you have purchased the Field Data Import Module" and I don't get what they mean by that

I see what you mean in the documentation, this is an error left over from a previous version of the docs, where field data was a licensed feature. This isn't relevant now as it's included as standard.

Do you have a field imported in the Creator Tree > Physics > Field Data Manager?
