Hello everyone,
In my model I have a first loadstep which is an interference fit of different sleeves inside a frame. For this one I am using sliding finite sliding contacts to establish the pressure from the sleeves in their sockets.
After that I want to proceed with a non linear intertia relief subcase where I apply loads in RBEs centered in the sleeves.
If I do not use frozen contacts the simulation can not proceed into the second subcase, which is fair because kinematically those sleeves are liable.
Is there a way to establish the intereference fit in subcase 1, save the stresses, swap the contacts from sliding to frozen and proceed to subcase 2?
