How we can run a topology optimization study using the results from Random Vibration Analysis in Hypermesh?
So I have been trying to run a topology optimization study using results from random vibration analysis. Still, whenever I run the study, it says that the topology optimization cannot take a frequency response as an input. Perhaps i am doing something wrong. Would anyone be able to guide me through it?

Hi Suyog,
As the picture show below, PSD and FRF responses can be defined as optimization responses.

So maybe something else is missing.
You can refer to this tutorial to see if any step is not set up properly. https://help.altair.com/hwsolvers/os/topics/solvers/os/random_response_optimization_r.htm#random_response_optimization_r
Please also share the solver deck(removing the mesh) and out/stat files then I can check it in more detail.
Thanks.
