Simlab 2022.3: one user cannot import any geometry!
One of my users seems to be completely unable to import any CAD data at all. Simlab's log file looks like the translation is happening, but it fails when it's trying to save the geometry... No error message, nothing... This is a brand new workstation, brand new install, otherwise similar installation (A/V, OS version, Processor & GPU type) as many of our other machines.
Puzzling to say the least! Is there something else I should be looking at?

Thanks, let me look into it. This is one of my users who's not able to import anything. We have multiple users, each with their own computer. Everyone is OK, but this one user. I'll check out the vp_init.bat it could just be this that is broken/corrupt. In which case, I'll copy it from another machine... Thanks again, very helpful!

Hello William,
I have attached a sample Parasolid and CATIA model. Could you please ask the customer to import the sample model and check?
Could you also get the "Systeminfo (File > Help)" file and "vp_init.bat (Under SimLab installation folder)" file from customer?
Which customer is facing this issue?
Thanks & Regards,
Santhoshkumar

Oddity of the century: somehow, Simlab didn't have the license registered even though it was and actually did start. Trying to solve in Optistruct or Import died right away with "no license server present". All good now, not sure what happened.
