Hello,

I am getting the following message at the end of an optimization:

TRACKED OBJECTIVE FUNCTION MODE GOES OUT OF BOUND; OPTIMIZATION STOPPED.

I am running optimization and using DSYSID and trying get certain modes to to align with certain frequencies.  The run would go through initial evaluation of the eigenvalues, then a verification run and then it stops.  I tried to increase the V2 of the EIGRL card, but no luck running beyond Iteration 1, which is the same as iteration '0'. Any thoughts?

Thanks

what kind of optimization are you running?

Depending on the optimization method, such as topology optimization, might cause a large change in the vibration modes, causing swithching of modes along the optimization.

Anyway, are you using the PARAM,MODETRAK?

Mode Tracking allows you to follow the iniital mode shapes along the optimization problem.
