Hello,

Currently I am working on a structural analysis. I already meshed the model, finished the Model Checks and some Analysis (Modal, Quasi-Static and Frequency Response).

But now I am stuck on the next analysis types.

I need to set up a :

Shock Test

  • Amplitude: 50 g
  • Type of Excitation: Half Sinus
  • Pulse Duration: 10 ms
  • Nr. of Shocks: 1 (in all + - directions)

Sinus Vibration

  • Amplitude: 4.5 g
  • Type of Excitation: Sinus
  • Frequency: 0 - 100 Hz

I would like to know what Load Collectors, Analysis Type (Load Step) and Control Cards I Need to start the simulations.

I appreciate every advise :)/emoticons/default_smile.png' srcset='/emoticons/smile@2x.png 2x' title=':)' width='20' />

This is dynamic analysis (time domain)problem. You could use TLOAD2 card to define the equation

    Shock test:

1.constraint All DOF at your desired region with load type SPC

2.Excite your body with acceleration with load type :SPCD(if excitation in y direction give y=500,remove all dof)

3.Create table d1 card with sine graph

4.create tload spcd and tabled1 with load type : accelartion

    5.create tstep

    Hi,

Is it possible to set up a similar simulation in Simlab?

    Thank you
