Flow Convergence Issue in Inspire Extrude Simulation

Good morning, everyone. I'm reaching out for insights regarding an issue I've encountered with Inspire Extrude software. I've attached two images for clarity: one illustrates the intended profile, and the other shows the outcome of the simulation. My primary concern revolves around the simulation's apparent disregard for flow convergence. Despite setting up the parameters carefully, the simulated profile significantly deviates from the intended design, particularly in areas where flow convergence is critical. Could anyone shed light on why this discrepancy occurs and how I might adjust the simulation settings to achieve a more accurate representation of the intended profile? Any guidance or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi,

As per the images, in this model setup, the Land region is not correctly defined.

FYI, Land is the last region in die assembly where polymer melt takes the final desired shape. Land should have the same cross-section as Profile throughout its length.

In this case, you can cut the solids as shown in the attached image. (You can ignore the names of components.)

    Thanks
