hi all

hope this is the right forum!
I want to analyse the heating/cooling of a battery cell due to the ambient temperature. A Am I right to use Hypermesh for this or is there a more convient / effective tool?
Aim is ti simulate how long it takes until the temperature of the last part equals the ambient temperature (option 2):

B) How can I automate the process of the simulation, that the tool simulates for a specific ambient temperature range and provides one list of results showing the time it takes to reach the ambient temperature?

C) How can I model that the heat transfer can take place over the whole surface plus the two contacts?

So far I imported the model as STP, assigned properties and materials. But I need a tutorial, to define the initial load (everything has ambient temperature) and the load case (change of the ambient temperature) and receiving the output (list of time it took).

Thanks!
