Steel material - how to model?

Dear Sir or Madam

I received information from supplier that they will use particular type of steel in project and I would like to check the surounding around the magnet which is near these steel elements. Steel DC04 and steel E235. Unfortunately they do not provide any information about magnetic parameters of the steel such as B-H curve. Is it a way I can model different type of steel? Or maybe some of the materials that are already in the material manager would be suitable?

Maybe you have some kind of external database? I have to admit that the library built into Flux is pretty poor when it comes to steel

    Hi,

    We have more types of magnetic steel in our Material Manager database compared to ".DAT" folder.

    You can access it through Material < Import from Material Manager in Flux.
