Hi

Once Altair Activate 2022.1 reaches 100% in the installation procedure window, an error occurs saying: "Fatal error application", "This Application has Unexpectedly Quit", "Invocation of this Java Application has caused an Invocation TargetException". Looking in the the details of the window I find written "Windows DLL failed to load". I've tried adding  a system variable JAVA_TOOL_OPTIONS as I've found in this link https://support.altair.com/csm?id=community_question&sys_id=eec55f4cdbde5d50cfd5f6a4e2961996 but the same error kept popping up. I'd like to know what to do to solve this problem.

Thanks

    I'm using Windows 11.

Please note that the java installation issue you are seeing is caused when trying to install a v2022.1 Altair product on a Windows 11 environment. Windows 11 is not an officially supported platform yet. Official support will come soon.

Setting a system variable as below should work usually:

    image

First, uninstall the software, then set the system variable (as shown above) and try to install the software again.

Can you once check whether the Ethernet ID of your machine matches the one in the license file? Or else can you run ipconfig/all in command window and send the output here?

Before setting the system variable I already had installed 2022.1 Activate so uninstalling it from the control panel solved the problem. At this point the newly installed 2022.1 Activate worked thanks to the system variable. Thank you for your help.
