I would to design a steel structure by Geometrical and Material Nonlinear Analysis with Imperfections (GMNIA) aproach.
The non-linear analysis can be done in a solution model (solution_2) in Simlab 2021.1 with a non linear static solution type and opstistruc solver. This analysis also would be done with the couple solution type (static, dynamic and heat transfer analysis).
The initial geometric imperfections can be modeled as a linear superposition of some elastic buckling modes obtained from a normal model solution type (
solution_1)
How to include the modes shape from solution_1 as a initial deformed geometry in the solution_2 for a GMNIA analysis?
How to combine diferents buckling modes from a normal model solution into a final deformed geometry?
