Given an 2d problem, while using Optistruct analysis, will it perfrom the analysis as a plane stress problem or a plane strain problem.
What is generally used , can any where we specify the method we want to use while performing the analysis.
Optistruct solves 2d problem (Plane Stress) as default , If you plane strain condition, Edit the pshell card.
could any one please tell me how to define a plane stress element ?
