What is weighted compliance in OPtistruct responses ?How does it works ?

Hi,

OPtistruct has a feature called weighted compliance,as of i understood it is the ratio that we can give so as to predict the effect of each load case on the optimisation result.But I have no idea how i could give these weighted compliance is there any theoretical background about the ratios or any kind of hit & trial method that would help me in giving these values.

Didn find this question untill I faced the same issue,

your understanding towards weighted compliance seems fine,

I have tried the same too,

For the optimization model,

I have used volumefrac as my constraint

and weight compliance as my objective function, where I have more than 2 load cases.
