Is there a way to configure curve highlighting when selecting the curve?

I frequently have several curves in the same plot during e.g. parameter studies. The problem is that I can't get a curve to highlight when I select it. Instead, it seems to fade when selected. Is there a way to alter this behavior?

Have you tried the browser (under View->browser) to select curves to do what you want if that helps?

I don't think there exists a way to change the fading behavior
