I have a problem with Hypergraph calculating the HIC curve/ value for an acceleration problem.
My steps were:
1) Import my simulation Data from LS-Dyna output files (acceleration (g) vs time (s)) (millimeter, second, tonne (LS Dyna output))
2) File -> Load -> Preference File -> Vehicle Safety Tools
3) Injury -> HIC -> HIC Curve
4) In the HIC Curve Menu I selected my imported curve, plot to new window
What Hypergraph now does is simply take the g_max value as the 'top' of the curve, and adjust the time limits according to the HIC criteria. As a HIC value I obtain 195.107, which in my opinion is far too less, considering i have between 20-50g for 30ms.
How does Hypergraph give out the correct HIC value? What details did I miss out?
