    thanks, @Ivan!

    Where did you find it?

    what do you think about these graphics?

    imposed displacement.

    should be in tutorial said. where did energy dissipate? Do you have any idea?

    it was exported from user guide which comes with above mentioned Hyperworks version.

    You have correctly observed that some energy was dissipated and the energy balance in the .out file is negative. There are two possible causes:

    -hourglass energy

    -contact energy, especially with friction

    Attached is documentation on energy balance; also check the same topic in Crash Analysis With RADIOSS- A Study Guide

    Plot both energies to see if they account for the difference (they are not included in total energy).

    @Ivan

    thanks my second picture was from crash_book. there isn't enough information. added mass is a little. but Energy error  is 13.5%, so i do not like it=(

    i use i solid=17 and shell type=24. hourglass energy and contact energy are enough little.

    @Mrt

    I suspect contact energy. Can you plot the contact energy and check the graph along with other?

    Hello, @Prakash Pagadala!

    it's enough little.

    i suspect mass scale. it's enough little, but part that can move is smaller than entire model.

    i am checking this cause now.

    if it's true i will write to you! if it isn't true i will write to you too)))

    i haven't used mass scale.

    it's interesting.

    i have imposed displacement (stend).

    and gravity load.

    @Mrt

    I just had a word with one of the RADIOSS experts. Physically there is no problem with the analysis and the spikes can be ignored.

    Due to restart, such spikes/disturbances in the plot are expected.

    @Mrt

    For now you can ignore the spikes as long as the animation is fine. If you see any strange behavior, then there is something wrong.

    I am waiting for more information from experts. I will share as soon as I have it.
