Hypercrash hc.exe crash at Airbag folding

Hi Everyone,

I'm a Student working on an Crash simulation Project using Hypermesh, Hypercrash, for solving with RADIOSS.

As I'm working on an Airbag model I gave myself a try on the 'A Quick start Guide to the First Fold' (EXPAND) regarding the Help Manual which basicaly was great. When I select the Part from the tree my Hypercrash crashes . Error occurs 'hc.exe' is not working.

I tried several Computers here in my University and on every Computer there is the same Error.

May there be the possibility that I Imported the wrong .0000.rad Data from Hypermesh?

System info is attached.

Hi Jo,

Can you delete the setting files are try again?

close all HyperWorks clients and delete setting files.

If deleting setting files did not help,

could you please let us know what is the version of HyperWorks you have and its updates?

Also, can you post txt/image of complete error message?

Hey Prakash,

Thanks for your reply. I Deleted all the Setting files as shown in the other thread. There was just left a 'radiossblk.msg' & 'stdout_2668_1' file.

I also deleted the Hypercrash files like recommended in this file.

When i tried to get my System informations it appears a different window, I think this is V13...?

I will try the the part selection as you mentioned in HC and will check if this is a model specific issue.

So I tried with a .nas file and everything worked fine.

can you share the .rad file which you are using?

Hey Prakash,

You were absolutly right I used the wrong Import file. I used 1D Geometry elements. With mesh elements everthink worked out perfect.

Now I'am on a new issue.

I think I tried all variation of the meshparameters. But it still keeps teelling me I should check my Parameters.

any Idea ?
