Temperature dependent specific heat, thermal conductivity and heat transfer coefficient

Please tell how can I define temperature dependent specific heat and thermal conductivity in material collector. I have used TABLEM1 as table having various values of temperature to specific heat but not able to understand how can I assign this tabular values to specific heat in material collector and same is the case with thermal conductivity also. Please do reply

    Hi SHanky 456,

     

    OptiStruct doesn't support Temp Vs Specific heat in the current version. This will be implemented in future releases.

    This is implemented in 13.0 (the next release) in MAT4 and MATT4 cards.

    Is there any update on the materialcards? Because i don't see any temperature dependet specific heat capacity cards for Mat4 in optistruct?

    Hi,

     

    Please refer to Mat4 and Matt4 cards. MATT4 supports Temp dependent thermal conductivity.
