I get a lot of errors
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?><?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
Next to that there seems to be an issue with the boundry condition and the material properies
Aswell as with the tickness, something I hope nothing is wrong with as it took months to assign that...

Hi,
This error seems to be related to the property cards. Ensure thickness is entered for the shell element property cards.

Thank you, however the thickness is variable.
Especially the windturbine, that one is constantly variable..I assumed the thickness was entered by the auto midsurface mesher

Another issue that has not been accounted for is the bending stresses already in the hull due to buoyancy and the ships own weight, I guess, adding those in will be making the simulation even more complex and we would reach a new level of impossible?
Hi A J Prins
I have gone through your problem setup.
I am doing a similar kind of problem of Ship to Ship collision using Radioss. (Struck ship is freely floating on water modeled with SPH elements and striking vessel collides with some INVEL.)
Regarding your issue of pre-stressed hull before collision due to buoyancy and self load which i quoted above, you can model water with SPH elements.
Hope this approach of modeling the problem will capture proper dynamics of the problem without any assumption.
Thanking You.

Dear Pritam, I have been able to add the forces onto the hull so the bending stresses are aswell accounted for. However I still have not been able to make even one run with the workflow working,
Right now the barier seems to be the thickness assignment where I made a mistake.
I can assure you, as a naval architect that your approach is indeed the better way of doing it, I choosed a simpler appoach by adding the forcess manualy due to the already complicated calculation.
