connector and Joint for 1 D Truss

Hi Guys,

 

i want to define connector and Joint  for 1 D Truss (Bar or Beam) als spring or Joint, for example: two bar are connect with spot (spring), but the connector color is always red.

 

wilch card should i change, like joint or Spring?

    Hi Leslie,

     

    Instead can you use spotweld with spring as element config?

     

    You can try creating spot weld (with config type as spring) using nodes for instance and check if that meets your requirement.

    i use your methode (Spring as PELAS or PUSH1 or PUSH), but it says:

    So, Do you have both connecting nodes in the same component?
