Hi, I imported an IGES file of a part made up of many surfaces from Rhino, (all surfaces were unjoined). However, in Evolve all surfaces were stitched/Combined as one part?

1) Is there an Evolve IGES import setting to keep surfaces from 'Combining'?

2) Is there an 'unCombine' or similar command in Evolve?

Extract surface could be used though not optimal because original surface(s) are maintained - in history, etc....

    1)  The geometry that is imported is dependent on the exporting application.  So in most cases if the surfaces form a closed (solid) object they will be read in as one solid part.

    2)  You can uncombine the surfaces by selecting the object and press 'U' on your keyboard, or from the Edit pull-down menu you can choose 'Uncombine'.  You should now find in the World Browser a list of all the individual surfaces.

    Thanks,
