Hi,

I am a masters student trying to fix parameters in for material model LAW83. For adhesive bonding between two dissimilar metals.

Please help me out with the LAW83 material guidelines,  and a suggestion for failure model(tried SNCONNECT).

Regards,

Chaitanya.

    Hi Chaitanya,

Can you refer to the RADIOSS reference guide for details, instructions and suggestion for LAW 83?

If you have any problem in defining, please let us know.

    Hi prakash,

I have refered to the MAT83 and have set the required parameters, but my results were not convincing.

I have seen that young's modulus has been normalised as per unit length. Is this varying as per the adhesive thichness?

From the material testing I got E=0.43 GPa.

    Thankyou.
