Does the present version support scripting ? Process Automation tab is present in the Advanced Tool Bar plus there is an option to run a script. I read release notes of SIMLAB 14.0 mentioning that script writing is not supported. Does simlab create a file similar to .cmf file created by hypermesh for commands executed ? Is it possible to view that file ? 

 

I am currently using the option of exporting the mesh specifications and geom id's of the face groups. Is it possible to associate the geom id's of the face groups of present geometry to a similar geometry with some minor changes. The geom id's change when I try to do that so I was thinking if automation could help. I am using feature recognition to make face groups but there are a number of groups which I have to create by selecting surfaces manually.

    Hi,

     

    If you have scripts created in 13.3 version,you can run it in 14.0 version.In 14.0 version we dropped support for recording commands and same will be available in 14.1 version.

    We will update you once it it is available.
