Hi,

what is the reason for this error? ()

Is there an error look up table somewhere available?

Thanks!

    Hey George,

What did you change? I have a slightly changed model in the meantime and I'm not sure if I can use the old rad-file?

    And:

How can I start the solver without creating a rad file but using yours? I usually start the solver Analysis>Radioss>Radioss (but there it firstly creates a rad file)

    Thanks!

    Hi,

I just modified the Type 2 interface parameters..

Please import the rad file shared above (In HyperMesh, RADIOSS user profile select File>Import>Solver Deck>and select file types as RADIOSS Block and select the file).

    Hope this helps.

    Hi George,

It seems to work. Thanks a lot! The messages still appears but as warnings and not as error? Is it correct that you only set the 'Ignore' parameter to 1?

    Thanks!

    Hi,

You can ignore those warnings. I also changed the dsearch value to default.

Ok! Isn't this important as this value defines the range where my the solver searchers for slave nodes (from the master nodes)?

And is it actually important on what object I define the master nodes and on what object I define the slave nodes? For example if I have an object with large E-Mod and one with small E-Mod are the Master node defined on the stiffer object?

    Hi,

In this case some slave nodes were beyond this search value. You can always run with default parameter also.

The coarser the mesh the stiffer the structure will be, provided the material and structural properties are same. Hence, the Master is typically meshed coarser so that the Slave does not penetrate into master. That is why we choose less deformable or high stiffer structure as master and less stiff as slave.
