Dear All,

could you please tell me how can i get a specific displacement whenever i apply pressure inside the cylinder in radioss block?

i mean how can i stop applying pressure at specific displacement?

example:

when i apply pressure inside cylinder i don't know how much deformation i get.

i give X amount of pressure and i want displacement 1 mm and after that displacement the cylinder will goes to the initial diameter(0.5 mm) after some time.i want specific displacement at X amount of pressure.

could you please tell me how to apply displacement sensor in radioss block?

can i use this displacement sensor in this application?

is there any other way to get specific displacement when we apply pressure inside the cylinder in radioss block?

Thanks a lot.....

Best Regards,

Bhautik

is your calculation static or dynamic? i think your problem changes to dynamic as your pressure input will vary with the time after adding the sensor. Instead of using sensor maybe you can give your pressure as a function of time and check the time when the deformation is 1 mm then you can cut the pressure at that time in your function input.

thank you very much for help.

but it take lots of time for solution.

we have to run two time for one solution.
