Hi,
How I do select the master node of a rigid body when making a boundary condition of that rigid body?
master node of a rigid body can be selected by right-clicking in the the Support field.
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
Ok thank very much.
Another question, and know how I can set a boundary condition in this rigid body?
As seeing in the picture by selecting a node it tells me that it cannot be possible.<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
Im triying to make a boundary condition so that it doesnt move in any direction unless X axis direction
There are no visible rigid bodies- you should first make them visible in by right-click rigid bodies in browser>view options>show. It will only accept master/independent node of a rigid body.
To constrain in all dirctions except X translation choose appropriate DOF (se attached image). You can also define a skew frame, if you want to constrain in different coordinate system than global coordinate system which is default.
This is shown when clicking on ridig body
The light green spider is a rigid body and the master node is at its center. Hide all components so only rigid bodies are displayed and then pick the node in the center.
Or right-click the rigid body in the browser and select cross reference. /NODE ID is the master/independent node number of a rigid body. This ID can be entered as Add Node IDs in boundary condition Support parameter.
