Hi everyone,

I am working on a motor stator. Earlier I was able to find equivalent radiated power(ERP) on the surface nodes of the stator. But now I need to find the ERP in space or say at microphone location. How can I do that?

    Hi Mayur,

    How this node will be connected to stutural element?

    I will check if there is a way to get ERP grid participation.

    Ok sir

    I think we may need to form an acoustic cavity. Not sure though

    Hi Mayur,

    Yes, there should be a cavity to measure the response.

    Hi Mayur,

    Please create a MSET with field grids and refer the same in RADSND where sound will be calculated.

    The RADSND set is not reflecting in the subcase RADSND option where we need to specify RADSND set.

    Hi Mayur,

    Sorry for a late reply.

    Which version of HyperWorks are you using?

    Did you edit the loadcase and checked RADSND?

    @Mayur Deshmukh

    So you created a set with node(s) and when you refer here it doesn't appear?

    Can you share the model file?

    Please use the file transfer link in my signature to share the model file
